New Patient Exam for Jaw Pain and TMJ Issues

Dr. Buchanan has been treating jaw issues for over 35 years and is a leading expert in diagnosing and treating jaw pain, TMD, and orofacial pain.  Her thoughtful, individualized, non-invasive approach has helped hundreds of patients feel better.  During your 90-minute appointment, Dr. Buchanan will listen to your history of discomfort and guide you through the process of identifying the underlying cause of your problem.  She will do an extensive physical examination of your jaw, head, and neck and give you a diagnosis and treatment plan. She will send an exam report to your healthcare providers and work with them as needed for your ongoing care. You may or may not need a follow-up appointment.  

 

90 minute new patient exam: $835.00

50 minute follow-up appointment: $315.00 

30 minute follow-up telehealth: $200.00
 

Payment is required at the time of your appointment. We are not contracted with insurance companies and do not bill insurance. We will give you the insurance form so you can submit it to your medical insurance for possible reimbursement.  This appointment is considered a medical appointment, not a dental appointment. 

 

Medicare and Kaiser will not cover this.
